The Financial Literacy Workshop is for women to join us to gain information and skills about money!
Session 1: May 18, 2023 | Session 2: June 15, 2023
Time: 6:30pm - 8:30pm
Location: Commercial Drive, Vancouver
Speaker: Lorina Serafico brings more than 18 years of experience in financial services to these engaging and informative workshops. She is a Home Financing Advisor with Scotiabank and is an active volunteer with the Vancouver Committee for Domestic Workers and Caregivers Rights.
Free refreshments provided!
Sign up for one or both workshops. Different topics will be addressed at each event.
Topics:
- Saving, debt, budgeting
- Introduction to GIC, RESP, RRSP, banks and credit unions, and taxes
- How to protect your savings (insurance)
- How to use investment tools (RESP, RRSP, TFSA, pension plans etc.)
- Plan for home, school, retire, vacation
