Asian Women Cinema
Asian Women Cinema is about shifting the narrative and amplifying the voices of women in film. We celebrate "women behind the camera", placing a powerful spotlight on the brilliant female directors and screenwriters who challenge perspective, celebrate intersectional identities, and ignite a passion for social change.

Asian Women Cinema in Montreal
Recognizing Asian Women in the month of Asian Heritage, we held our first edition of the Asian Women Cinema screenings in Montreal.
We focused on movies that feature or were directed by Asian women and took the opportunity to talk about how sex, race, and class are portrayed in film and media.

Asian Women Cinema in Vancouver
The Vancouver edition of Asian Women Cinema has been extremely successful, inspiring more community connection and sparking impactful dialogue.
